Haight Street Art Center and Miner Family Winery are teaming up to present one of the coolest curated pop-up art exhibits this year!
This art exhibition displays an evolution of the Concert Poster, identifying primary eras in conjunction with the music of each period. It begins by focusing on artwork from two seminal rock movements: San Francisco’s Psychedelic Era and the subsequent Punk Explosion. The survey continues with the Grunge Movement, and more contemporary works. The show features several leading artists, both historic and current, to represent the extensive body of poster art created in the last five decades. Silkscreen Demo at Bottlerock

Prominent West Coast rock poster artist, Gary Houston, demonstrates techniques for making concert silkscreen posters. Taking designs created for BottleRock, Houston will show how he produce his hand-pulled silkscreen prints.
The artists will offer the prints they make at the demonstration.
