Moonalice Legend Book Vol 7 Hardback
In a post-fact culture that gets stranger every day, it is hard to know what information sources to trust. Into the breach leaps The Moonalice Legend: Posters and Words, Volume 7, a book where truth rises like a phoenix from the ashes of fact. We won’t pretend that Volume 7 has all the answers – we have six other volumes in the series to fill in the gaps – but this book will give you insights not available anywhere else. Learn about Princess Sensimilla and Queen Tut, The Pied Piper of Felton, and the Moonalice twins, Bobbsey and Doublemint. Discover the wonders of zombie crustaceans, the first woman to pitch in major league baseball and the basset hound who went into space. Get the 411 on rosenshrooms, the Keystone 420 pipeline, hemp-powered one-man bands, and the Pirates of Arizona. This is truly the stuff of Moonalice Legend.
This book also includes the best poster art of San Francisco, created for a band committed to the notion that music, art, and laughing are good for the human spirit. Surrender to the fun and enjoy a year’s worth of fine poster art. Embrace the crazy and love the legendary.
Includes art by: Alexandra Fischer, Carolyn Ferris, Chris Shaw, Chuck Sperry, Darrin Brenner, Dave Hunter, David Singer, Dennis Larkins, Dennis Loren, Gary Grimshaw, Gary Houston, John Mavroudis, John Seabury, Lauren Yurkovich, Lee Conklin, Pat & George Sargent, Prairie Prince, Ron Donovan, Stanley Mouse, Wendy Wright, Wes Wilson, and Winston Smith
The legend continues…

Moonalice poster by Ron Donovan
Legend
According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by the amazing Ron Donovan depicts Sir Topham Frog. He has a top hat, a monocle and a walking stick. According to Moonalice legend, if you want to be a princess, you need to will have to kiss a lot of frogs. In the Moonalice tribe, toads reign supreme, which has put a damper on the supply of princesses. For many years, no one gave the princess thing a thought, but times are different now. Our young ladies have seen pictures of the cute Prince George of England … and now they all want to be princesses. So, the tribal matriarchs did the impossible: they traded future prospects and a kilo of Blue Dream for Sir Topham Frog, the world’s greatest princess maker. Sir Topham will be a free agent after the harvest. They made the trade, which is basically a three-month rental. He can make only one princess a day, but anyone can play. All you have to do is kiss this poster.

Legend
According to Moonalice legend, today is the 20th of April … the day after Bicycle Day … two days after Patriots Day … better known to us as 4/20. This year 4/20 is the day that the United States finally decided to replace the horrific Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill with the incredible and wonderful Harriet Tubman. Every year 4/20 is a day to celebrate the world’s most popular weed, cannabis. We are gathered here at Slim’s to share the High Holy Day of 4/20 with the members of our tribe. I am holding in my hands a set of 21 posters, by Chris Shaw, Winston Smith, Lauren Yurkovich, Wes Wilson, Stanley Mouse, Ron Donovan, Prairie Prince, Pat & George Sargent, John Seabury, Jennae Bennett, Dave Hunter, Chris Peterson, Lee Conklin, John Mavroudis, Jason Wilson, Gregg Gordon, Dennis Loren, Dennis Larkins, David Singer, Darrin Brenner, and Carolyn Ferris. Each of you will receive a full set at the end of the show. We also have two amazing screen prints, one each by Alexandra Fischer and Gary Houston, available for purchase at the merch table.
