Moonalice poster by Carolyn Ferris
Legend
According to Moonalice legend, Washington is beset by privateers and pirates, to say nothing of Congress-critters and lobbyists. The Moonalice tribe is not from the the government, but we are definitely here to help. We have dispatched our navy, in the form of the tall ship Gypsy Sally. As depicted in tonight’s poster by Carolyn, the Gypsy Sally is under the command of Captain Muffin Wombat Moonalice, a hard smokin’ old salt who will eventually restore peace to the District of Columbia. Captain Muffin’s doesn’t believe in violence. His motto is make weed, not war. So naturally his first move was to legalize cannabis. So far, so good. Stay tuned. If anything weird happens, credit Captain Muffin.
