Artists Attending TRPS Festival of Rock Posters on Saturday October 28, 2017

On Saturday, October 28, 2017, The Rock Poster Society is hosting their annual fall event Festival of Rock Posters at the San Francisco County Fair Building (also known as the Hall of Flowers) in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. This event runs from 10:00am to 6:00pm and admission will vary depending on the time you arrive, after 3:00pm the event is FREE. Join the event on Facebook for more information.

If you are in the Bay Area, this is a great opportunity to meet many Moonalice and Doobie Decibel System poster artists, and get some of your favorites signed too! Artist Shane Grogg designed a psychedelic poster (pictured above) which will be available to purchase at the show.

New exhibit: One Question – So Many Answers Paintings by Christoper Peterson

Painter and Moonalice poster artist Chris Peterson has a new exhibit One Question – So Many Answers that opened last night at the Montclair Art Gallery. If you missed it, you still have a chance to view all of Chris’ beautiful paintings. This exhibit continues until December 2, 2017.

The Music Never Stopped Book Signing with Bob Minkin

Before Moonalice take the stage this Sunday October 1, 2017 at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, there will be a special book signing event with Marin based photographer Bob Minkin!

If you missed his recent Kickstarter, nows’ your chance to score a personal signed copy of his new book “The Music Never Stopped – Marin County’s Music Scene – Photographs by Bob Minkin”. This new 208-page hardcover coffee table book documenting Marin County’s music scene past and present — 1980’s to 2017 — is a fantastic journey to take through the lens of one of the most respected photographers in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Music Never Stopped features over 500 never-before-seen images from Bob’s archives — including live performance shots, intimate backstage, off-stage and at home photographs of our favorite players (Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh and written contributions by Phil Lesh, Pete Sears, Jorma Kaukonen, Steve Kimock, Bill Kreutzmann and many more.)
