DYSTOPIAN DREAMS brings together the work of Dennis Larkins and Winston Smith, two seminal figures in the history of counter-cultural art. Through their shared visual and political sensibilities, both artists deploy their art as critical commentary on the strangeness of American life and the disappointments and outrages of American politics.
HAIGHT STREET ART CENTER is proud to present the work of two lowbrow, pop-surrealist masters who have fearlessly explored the hilarious and poignant absurdities of America’s utopian dreams and often dystopian realities.
