According to Full Moonalice legend, this June has been a particularly important month for civil rights. Millions of protestors have taken to the streets across the US and around the world to express their opposition to police brutality. Last Friday was Juneteenth, which celebrates the day in 1865 when slaves in Galveston, TX first learned that they had been freed by the Emancipation Proclamation … two years after the fact. And June is Pride Month, celebrating everyone’s right to love the person of their choice.
Today we are releasing the official video of Love Me Today, written by Chloe Tietjen. As you listen to the song and watch the video, join us in celebrating love in all in its forms. The song image created by Alexandra Fischer depicts Luna and Alice Moonalice, who fell in love while caring for a neighborhood crop of Blue Dream. Their wedding reception was a classic, with wonderful food, music, and dancing. The brownie-based cake caused every guest to pass out in a tsunami of bliss. No one who was there will ever remember any details, but the reception is now the stuff of Moonalice legend.
