According to Moonalice legend, Homer is a lovely drinking town with a small fishing problem. No one should try to drive home after a long night of halibut fishing. You could call an Uber, but tonight’s poster by Caroline Ferris provides a better alternative. Find your way to Moonalice’s Champagne Palace, have a couple glasses of bubbly and then ride home in a Great American Taxi. That’s what we plan to do …

Artist’s Statement

This one is the first of my ink drawings with all event lettering, OBVIOUSLY big help from Wes! He helped me to learn how to do an entire poster on one sheet up; lay the lettering upon/within the image. This one was really fun to make, I had all the involved parties in mind, the venue–Alice’s Champagne Palace, our favorite Moonalice and Great American Taxi….Hope you are able to see the show upcoming on August 4 in Alaska!
