According to Moonalice legend, today’s poster by Alexandra Fischer depicts the Moonalice twins, Doublemint and Bobbsey. They were the first set of conjoined twins in the history of our tribe . . . and they are unique in many ways. For one thing, the twins are connected at the finger tips. Needless to say, this makes it impossible for Doublemint and Bobbsey to play bass. Other fundamental life skills, such as rolling doobies, required a level of coordination never previously exhibited in our tribe. Another unusual thing about Doublemint and Bobbsey: even though they are identical, they are not actually related. How cool is that? So you may be wondering why the twins aren’t here with us today to celebrate their poster … Doublemint and Bobbsey are at city hall in San Francisco, getting a marriage license. Felicitations to them both!!!!
