According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by Darrin Brenner depicts the seal of Rick Griffin Moonalice, the pioneer of Moonalice poster art. RGM began his career as the tribal scribe, but did not hold his weed well … it caused him to write illegibly. He got fired. Next thing you know, he was making posters and selling weed. The posters were beautiful, but illegible. It was the weed that made it possible to read them.
