Moonalice poster by Winston Smith
Legend
According to Moonalice legend, today is the 25th anniversary of the Crash of 1987. For reasons that defy explanation, this reminds us of the space program, specifically when NASA sent test pilots to our home plutoid. Considering the advanced technology required by the moon landings, it’s kind of surprising that the astronauts had no fire and no snakes! What kind of people visit the moon without fire and snakes? As depicted in tonight’s poster by Winston Smith, the answer is: astronauts. Fortunately, members of our tribe brought both to the Apollo 15 Landing Party.
