Bread & Roses is a philanthropic organization that produces more than 600 concerts a year for people who can’t get out: people in prison, hospitals, nursings homes and the like. They produce our shows at Delancey Street, veterans hospitals and similar venues. B&R gave us an award this year for posters that our artists have created for their events. We love Bread & Roses and hope you will join us in supporting their mission.

I have to say that photographing the Moonalice gig at Delancey Street was a great honor, as well as an enormous blast. The folks there were beside themselves to get such amazing live music brought to them. I wish I could have photographed the ecstatic dancing that took place. It occurred to me, as the night progressed, that it was probably similar to the experience of seeing Johnny Cash in Folsom. The audience were on some other plain, escaping their reality, if for only a couple hours.
