According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by Patricia and George Sargent depicts a night time view of the Butterfly Zoo in Tiverton, right down the road. All day long, the butterflies flit around looking pretty, but at night, when the moon is full, they emerge from a cocoon as Moonalice songs … That’s why we can only play here at the Narrows Center every year or two … it takes that long to grow new butterflies. Next time you hear us play, remember the butterflies.
