September 25, 2010 Kaplan’s Farm, Millerton, New York
Moonalice poster by Chris Shaw
Legend
According to Moonalice legend, the three silos outside of Kaplan’s Barn were the center of a tribal panic during the Cold War. In those days, the silos were known as the Silos of Millerton because the Russians and Cubans tried to put nukes there. The Millerton Missile Crisis lasted 13 days, ending only when no would could find Millerton on a map.
According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by Chris Shaw depicts Charlene Moonalice, inventor of the smoke ring. Charlene was so good, she could do the tribal logo in smoke.
