According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by John Seabury depicts Beech Moonalice, known to his friends as Woody. Despite his rigid posture and Cyclops vision, Woody was the life of the party here in Tahoe City, back in the days when very tall red headed people inhabited these parts. Woody was on a first name basis with the finest hemp in this area and helped the humans learn to appreciate hemp’s finer points. For that reason, tonight we celebrate Woody Moonalice, the first sharp eyed member of our tribe.
