According to Moonalice, this afternoon’s poster by Stanley Mouse depicts Looking Glass Moonalice, who led the tribe here in Arcata throughout the 60s. Looking Glass’ had a unique skill: she could see the future. She was a close friend of Augustus Owsley Stanley the 3rd, a chemist and sound man of great repute in our world … and depended on his medicine to keep her chops up. The problem with seeing the future is that everything is backwards. Our tribe got behind Looking Glass in a big way . . . and perhaps you did also. If everything in the world seems backwards to you, perhaps you just are behind Looking Glass … with the rest of us. If so, welcome to the tribe!
