Legend
According to Moonalice legend, today’s 4th of July poster by Carolyn Ferris depicts the immortal Tinkerbell Moonalice on her paint horse, Zebra, as they rode across Monterey Bay on the first leg of the inaugural Pacific Grove triathlon. Needless to say, walking on water proved to be a great advantage, but not enough to avoid the train wreck that was Zebra’s attempt to ride a bicycle.
