Moonalice poster by Chris Shaw
Legend
According to Moonalice legend, today’s poster by Chris Shaw depicts Princess Sensimilla Moonalice, the woman who introduced hemp-based entertainment products to Amsterdam. You may remember that Holland in those days was the land of tulips and cheap cigars. The poster shows the Dutch Masters – of cheap cigar fame – after their first taste of Princess Sensimilla’s buds. The squid on Sensimilla is a hallucination . . . suggesting that there’s no bud like old bud.
