Moonalice poster by Wendy Wright
Legend
According to Moonalice legend, there was a time when ships of sail came to Eugene. WTF, you ask? How did they get a square rigger this far up river? As you can see in Wendy Wright’s poster, there was only one square rigger that could make the trip, the SS Cozmic, better known as the Good Ship Lollipop. The Good Ship had magical powers – and Shirley Temple – which allowed it to deliver the finest cannabis to the fine people of Eugene on a daily basis. Hemp ropes, hemp sails, and hemp-powered sailors … as well as a bit of time travel made the whole thing possible. Which is why the lighthouse doubled as a pizza parlor. The munchies were everywhere!
