May 25, 2013 Summer of Serendipity, Denver, Colorado
Moonalice poster by Dennis Larkins
Legend
According to Moonalice legend, this is the Summer of Serendipity. We agree. You guys here in the mile high state legalized weed and now we are here playing a free show. You can’t get any more serendipitous than that, even in summer. Today’s poster by Dennis Larkins is penultimate in a 5-poster mural depicting our tribe in iconic activities. This poster features the matriarch Sarah Moonalice and her pet husband Dipity. Sarah and Dipity were early pioneers in the campaign for legalization. Unfortunately, they couldn’t stick to pot. They started worshipping Thing from the Addams Family, imagining that our home planet was nestled in Thing’s delicate fingers. Coloradans are really open minded, but worshiping Hollywood was a bridge too far.
