According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by Alexandra Fischer depicts the lovely Fairfax Moonalice. You may note the verdant greenness of Fairfax’s skin and hair. Fairfax was a an unusual and unusually beautiful baby with snow blond hair and ebony black skin. When Fairfax was a baby, her mother bathed her in cannabis oil. One day, she accidentally left Fairfax in the bath … and didn’t come back for six months. By then, Fairfax had absorbed all of the cannabinoids. Her hair turned bright green, her skin faded to off white, and a single kiss from her lips was known to incapacitate even Olympic-class smokers. She was still beautiful, but green. You must remember this, her kiss was way more than a kiss.

    This is a lovely Moonalice Poster. You really tapped into Mucha’s domain with this one – ha!!! Although his influence only shows up in my poster designs from time to time, he has always been a favorite poster artist of mine. I really like the limited color palate that you used, as well as, the snowflakes on the moon. Hope you and Chris have a great time in Boston for the holidays.
