According to Moonalice legend, the smoke is thick in Southern California. Normally this would be a sign of some serious partying, but not today. Today it is a sign of climate change, enhanced by Santa Ana winds and decades of underinvestment by PG&E. Tonight’s poster by Mike Dogulshkin depicts Cubensis Moonalice and her frigate, Puffy, the dynamic duo of tribal rescue. Puffy is the only sailboat on earth powered by smoke, so it is the perfect escape vehicle if the fires decide to attend the gig. And if the fires steer clear, Cubensis and Puffy will take us for a ride … a joy ride.
