8/28/11 Moonalice poster by David Singer

August 28, 2011 Sand City’s West End Celebration, Sand City, California
Moonalice poster by David Singer

According to Moonalice legend, today’s poster by David Singer depicts Baby Irene Moonalice, who grew up right here in Sand City. Baby Irene was remarkably energetic for a Moonalice, a veritable hurricane of energy, and she devoted all that energy to growing giant tulips on the beach here in West End. In a tribe traditionally focused on playing bass and growing hemp, giant tulips represented a potential diversification. Unfortunately, Irene’s giant tulips bloomed only once and lasted two days. The bulbs have been hibernating ever since. One day they will bloom again!

Love your posters, especially this one. Also, Moonspiration photos and fractals. I can’t believe I have been unaware of the Moonalice band and world until Sept. 10 in Pacific Grove, CA. Would definitely have been at your show in Sand City. You are so awesome!
Thanks!!! Let me know if and when this poster is available to buy. You enrich my life!
