According to Moonalice legend, this year’s Tribal Pow-Wow will be extraordinary in many ways!
For the first time in the band’s history, April 20th is on a Saturday night, which seems entirely appropriate. This year there will be 15 posters in the set that everyone who attends the Tribal Pow-Wow at Slim’s on 4/20 will receive FREE! Artists in the poster set include: Wendy Wright, Carolyn Ferris, Darrin Brenner, John Mavroudis, David Singer, Dennis Loren, Dennis Larkins, Dave Hunter, Lauren Yurkovich, John Seabury, Stanley Mouse, Lee Conklin, Ron Donovan, Wes Wilson, & Alexandra Fischer.
The 4/20 show will be a benefit for Sweet Relief and all proceeds from the show will go to help our friend Jim King get the surgery he desperately needs! A silent auction will also be held with lots of cool items. Please help us spread the word and get everyone to chip in.

The amazing items in the silent auction include:
A huge thank you to Bob Barsotti, Steve Parish and Dawn Holiday for helping make this happen for one nicest guys in the music business!!!
Our favorite clown on the planet, Wavy Gravy, will also be there to help us celebrate!!!
If you can’t be there in person, join us on the Couch Tour at moonalice.com

According to Moonalice legend, today’s poster by Alexandra Fischer depicts Elmira Fudd Moonalice, a long time resident of Mill Valley, who made her living bweeding wascally wabbits. Unlike her father Elmer, Elmira was a real beauty, which made her speech impediment all the more adorable. Being a Moonalice, it was not enough for Elmira to waise cute wittle bunnies. No, no, no!! She bred Keister Wabbits! You fed them the finest hemp bud and they pooped out hash. This may explain why some people around here are not big fans of hash.

Moonalice poster by Alexandra Fischer
According to Moonalice legend, today is Pi Day. It is customary for the tribe to celebrate with pastry. Recent changes in eating habits put a damper on dessert, but in no way diminished the festive spirit of this show at San Francisco’s Walden House shelter.
According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by Alexandra Fischer depicts the lovely Walden House Moonalice, the patron saint of second chances. Known as House to her friends, Walden taught our tribe how to live one day a time. For all her great qualities, Walden was a terrifying musician. Her instrument, the MoonHarp had 7 strings, all tuned to a pitch that caused listeners to beg for mercy.
