Accord­ing to Moon­al­ice leg­end, today’s 4th of July poster by Car­olyn Fer­ris depicts the immor­tal Tin­ker­bell Moon­al­ice on her paint horse, Zebra, as they rode across Mon­terey Bay on the first leg of the inau­gural Pacific Grove triathlon. Need­less to say, walk­ing on water proved to be a great advan­tage, but not enough to avoid the train wreck that was Zebra’s attempt to ride a bicycle.
